Your search for the perfect hotel in the Ski Juwel ski area is over. Our ski hotel in the Wildschönau is located just before Auffach, where the valley station of the new 8-seater Schatzberg gondola opens the door to Tyrol’s TOP 10 ski area.
The ski bus stops right outside the door every 5 minutes in the morning, letting you start your day on the slopes quickly and comfortably. At the end of your ski day, you can follow the ski trail all the way back to the hotel.

Cross-country skiing in the Wildschönau
Look forward to 50 kilometres of well-groomed and mostly quiet cross-country ski trails through the high valley.
A tip for connoisseurs: take the Auffach–Schönanger trail to the Schönangeralm and enjoy delicious Tyrolean cuisine and cheese specialities when you stop there.
The Mühltal - Auffach cross-country trail (7 km) runs directly behind the hotel.

Tobogganing fun in the Wildschönau
Schatzberg offers exciting toboggan runs to Auffach, Thierbach or directly to the hotel. There is also another popular toboggan run in Niederau. Day and night tobogganing are equally exciting, especially for families. Tobogganing is also possible at Markbachjoch.

The Wildschönau mountain world in winter – nowhere are you closer to the beautiful winter landscape than on a ski tour.
Nature lovers will find many attractive routes of varying lengths in the Wildschönau. Popular starting points include the top stations of the Markbachjoch and Schatzberg lifts. Once you reach the summit, the reward awaits: a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains that you otherwise only know from photographs. After a wonderful powder-snow descent, many ski tourers stop by one of the cosy ski huts to fortify themselves before heading back down into the valley.
