At the Haflingerhof, a riding holiday becomes a true nature experience. Our rides into the Wildschönau start right outside the hotel door, while beginners and advanced riders create their own special moments in the saddle in the arena and indoor riding hall.
Families appreciate the manageable size of our riding stable, our well-trained Haflingers and the personal care provided by our team. While the children learn to ride or gain their first experience while pony leading, parents can enjoy the peace of the mountains, the wellness area or simply join in themselves.

Hotel guests and external visitors are warmly welcome. Riding lessons, trail rides and pony leading are also available to locals and day guests, subject to availability.

Prices
Tickets for riding lessons can be purchased at the hotel reception, either individually or as a discounted package. These packages are transferable and can be shared between guests.
One ticket is valid for one riding lesson in the indoor arena or for a one-hour trail ride. Longer trail rides are charged by the hour, with one ticket required per hour.
You can find current riding dates in the riding calendar. There you can view the current riding schedule and conveniently register your interest for one or more preferred dates afterwards.

The Haflingerhof in the Wildschönau is a family-friendly riding stable in Tyrol with its own stables, indoor riding hall and well-trained Haflingers. Thanks to its location on a sunny plateau with an impressive mountain backdrop, the farm is an ideal starting point for trail rides and hikes. Guests stay in cosy rooms and suites, enjoy regional cuisine and can flexibly combine the riding programme with their holiday.
For beginners and children, we offer riding lessons in small groups where safe and respectful handling of the horse takes centre stage. Advanced riders explore the surroundings on daily trail rides, sporty cross-country rides or special experiences such as the alpine pasture ride and breakfast ride.
The very youngest gain their first experience in the saddle while pony riding – accompanied by their parents.

Riding holiday in the Wildschönau
Grundsätzlich sind Hotelgäste und externe Gäste herzlich willkommen.
Für Reitstunden in der Halle gilt in der Regel ein Mindestalter von 6 Jahren.
Ponyreiten / Ponyführen:
Für Kinder ab 2 Jahren möglich. Eine verantwortungsvolle Begleitperson ist erforderlich, bei uns sind 2 Begleitpersonen vorgesehen.

Wichtig bei Ausritten (Tägliche Ausritte, Frühstücksritt, Almritt):
Diese Angebote sind für Fortgeschrittene gedacht. Zusätzlich ist eine Kennenlern-Hallenstunde notwendig, damit wir Pferd und Reiter passend einteilen können. Beim Almritt gilt alternativ auch ein Reitnachweis (Reiterpass oder Großes Hufeisen).

Krämer in Irschenberg (nahe München), Krämer in Thaur/Innsbruck sowie Equiva in Innsbruck. In Wörgl (ca. 20 Minuten vor der Wildschönau) führt außerdem das Raiffeisen-Lagerhaus ein kleines Sortiment an Reitbekleidung und Zubehör, z. B. Hosen, Handschuhe, Helme und Rückenprotektoren.

Hinweis: Die Planung erfolgt kurzfristig. Fix bestätigen können wir Termine in der Regel am Vortag (je nach Wetter, Auslastung und Wohl der Pferde).
Unser Reitprogramm planen wir tagesaktuell. So können wir uns nach Wetter, Auslastung und Wohl der Pferde richten.
Eine Reitstunde dauert ca. 50 Minuten.
Bitte planen Sie insgesamt mehr Zeit ein, damit genug Raum für kurze Instruktionen, Pferd zuteilen, Putzen, Hufe auskratzen und Satteln bleibt.
Ausritte werden stundenweise geplant (z. B. 1, 2 oder 3 Stunden).
Frühstücksritt und Almritt sind längere Touren (je nach Angebot ca. 2–4 Stunden bzw. 5–6 Stunden).
Für die genaue Tagesplanung geben Ihnen unsere Reitlehrerinnen und Reitlehrer sowie die Rezeption gerne Auskunft.
Reitstunden und Ausritte rechnen wir in der Regel über Reittickets ab:
